The University offers courses in 24 branches of Engineering at the UG level and 24 courses at PG level in addition to Sciences, MBA, MCA and Ph.D programmes in all disciplines. The University has excellent infrastructural facilities including modern laboratories, library with video, Internet and other general amenities. To its credit it has been awarded B++ grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and ISO 9001:2000 for professional quality management. The University has undertaken various sponsored and collaborative Research and Development projects funded by national organizations such as Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF) etc,. The University holds great promise to expand the applications of space technology, benefiting the common man and enriching the quality of life in association with Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) the university is successfully conducting non formal education programmes through 18 Village Resource Centres (VRCs) all over the state.

Placement & Training
OBJECTIVE :
To mould the students to meet the corporate expectation and place them in reputed companies based on the expected Job profiles of each student.
PLACEMENT ACTIVITIES :
We have full-fledged Placement cell, which monitors the employment opportunities and arrange campus interviews for the final year students.
► Our Campus recruitment program starts by the beginning of the Pre-Final semester.
► The On Campus recruitment program keeps continuing till the end of their final semester.
► And after that we will be helping our students by arranging Off-Campus Interviews also.
► We do not encourage the students, those who are placed through campus selection in a company to attend the further campus interviews.
► The students those who have the plan to proceed for Higher Study will not be allowed to appear for the Campus Recruitments.
► Our management is having a strong policy to not to encourage the companies doing Education & Training activities to attract the students in the name of placement orders.
The Campus Recruitment for the Academic Year’ 2012-2013 is going on successfully. So far 814 students have been placed and still a lot more to go as the Campus Interviews continues!!

How to Apply
To apply for Entrance Examination, the eligible candidate may choose any one of the following options :
1. PURCHASING APPLICATION FORM :
Eligible candidates can buy the application form on payment of Rs. 550/- at the major Post Office and Indian Bank Branches, throughout India. (The list of Post offices and Indian Bank Branches are available in the University Website). Filled in applications should be sent to "Registrar, Sathyabama University, Jeppiaar Nagar, Rajiv Gandhi Salai, Chennai 600119"”, on or before 30th March, 2013.
APPLICATIONS RECEIVED AFTER THE DUE DATE WILL BE SUMMARILY REJECTED
2. ONLINE APPLICATION :
Student can also use Online application available at sathyabhama.ac.in@gmail.com http://sathyabamaedu.blogspot.in/
Students opting for online application should fill in the application, and should verify all the details entered. After the verification of the details, payment of Rs. 550/- should be made either by using Net Banking Facility/Credit Cards(VISA and Master)/Debit Cards(VISA and Master) or by challan payment at any one of the Indian Bank branches.
APPLICATIONS WITHOUT FEE PAYMENT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR WRITING ENTRANCE EXAMINATION..
